Argentina’s national team has released the squad list for the last two World Cup qualifying matches, against Venezuela and Ecuador.
Head coach Lionel Scaloni has recalled captain Lionel Messi, who had been sidelined due to injury but is now fully recovered.
Among the called-up players are also two new and promising talents for Argentina’s future:
- Nicolas Paz (Como)
- Franco Mastantuono (Real Madrid)
Argentina has already secured qualification for the World Cup and will aim to defend its 2022 world champion title.
