100% of Regular Votes Counted: Preliminary Election Results Announced

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has processed 100 percent of the preliminary results from Kosovo’s extraordinary parliamentary elections held on December 28.

According to the data published by the CEC, Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) emerged as the clear winner of the elections, securing 433,394 votes nationwide.

Preliminary Results by Political Parties

Based on the officially published figures:

  • Vetëvendosje (LVV): 433,394 votes
  • Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK): 184,318 votes
  • Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK): 119,201 votes
  • Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK): 49,698 votes

Voter Turnout

The overall voter turnout stood at 45.03 percent, with 900,330 citizens casting their ballots out of a total of 1,999,204 registered voters on the electoral roll.

In addition, the CEC reported that 77,086 citizens registered to vote from abroad, reflecting continued engagement from the Kosovo diaspora.

Election Process

The vote counting was conducted at the Vote Counting Center located in the “1 Tetori” Hall in Prishtina, under the supervision of the election authorities and observers.

The CEC is expected to proceed with the verification of conditional ballots and diaspora votes, after which final certified results will be announced.
