101 Russian Drones Attack Ukraine: 11 Injured, Kyiv Power Grid Hit

Late last night, around 23:10, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine using multiple rocket launch systems.

  • Among the injured were two women, aged 86 and 44, who were hospitalized, while the others received medical attention on-site.
  • Subsequent attacks in Kherson injured nine more people.

According to reports, the Russian strike involved 101 drones, including roughly 70 Shaheed drones, of which 69 were intercepted or neutralized by Ukrainian air defenses. The attacks resulted in 32 strikes across 13 different locations, with debris causing minor damage in surrounding areas.

In Odesa, Russian forces hit an industrial facility and damaged the windows of a religious building. Regional governor Serhiy Lysak described the damage to industrial and residential sites as “minimal” and confirmed that public services were working to restore normalcy.

Additionally, the Kyiv power grid was hit, leaving the city without electricity for two hours.
