The Emergency Management Agency (AME) has reported that 61 fire outbreaks were recorded across Kosovo in the past 12 hours.
Of these, nine remain active while 52 have been contained.
“During the past 12 hours, a total of 61 fire outbreaks have been registered in the country. Out of these, 9 remain active, while 52 have been localized thanks to the intervention of Firefighting Units and other supporting structures. The situation is being managed in close coordination with Firefighting Units, Operational Centers 112, and the Kosovo Police,” the AME/Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
According to assessments, the situation is considered manageable, as all active fires are under constant monitoring and firefighting teams remain on the ground. AME/MPB expressed gratitude to firefighters, the Kosovo Police, KFOR, municipalities, and citizens who have contributed to managing the situation.
