Former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, today marked the significant anniversary of his acquittal at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague.
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj stated that November 17, 2004, marked the beginning of his legal journey, which concluded on November 29, 2012, with the ruling that declared him not guilty.
He emphasized that even after subsequent retrials, his goal has always been to affirm the truth and protect the honor of Kosovo.
“My fight for the truth lasted as long as the fight for freedom, and in both battles, I emerged victorious,” Haradinaj wrote, expressing gratitude to all those who believed in his innocence and stood by him throughout this journey.
He also highlighted his commitment to ensuring that in every action and decision, he brings victory and honor to Kosovo, stressing that he has never wavered from this duty, neither in war nor in peace.
