The United States Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, stated in an exclusive interview on “Rubikon” on Klan Kosova that they know exactly where Kosovo’s border is, specifying that it is north of the Ibër River.
He also expressed a desire for the government to work with them, as he mentioned, with the international community.
“We know exactly where the border is: it is north of the Ibër River. I can say this about the issue, but there have been others as well. We want the government to work with us, the international community. And it’s not just the United States. It’s the United States, our Quint partners, the European Union, others, all the organizations and countries that Kosovo needs on its side to realize its vision.”
“We have raised our concerns regarding the implementation methods. Regarding the Central Bank Regulation, I would say that there have been efforts by the government to respond to some of the concerns we have raised, but we are asking for more coordination in ways that take into account the concerns raised by the affected communities, particularly the ethnic Serbian community in Kosovo,” Hovenier stated.
