The Basic Court in Pristina has sentenced the person accused of attacking KFOR members in Zveçan, Nenad Orlovic, to 15 months in prison and a 12,000 euro fine.
The president of the judging panel, Valbona Musliu Selimaj, said that the decision will become directly applicable as it comes as a result of the plea agreement.
The Kosovar citizen of Serbian nationality, Orlovic, was convicted for the criminal offenses of participation in a crowd that commits criminal offenses and hooliganism and assault on an official person.
He has been in custody since June 26 of last year.
According to the indictment, he used strong tools, improvised explosive devices and firearms in the direction of KFOR members.
The indictment of the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Orlović is related to May 29 last year, when a violent crowd of Serbian protesters injured around 90 members of KFOR.
