The Embassy of Albania in Paris has announced that 15-year-old Merina Syla from Kosovo, who had been missing for three days, has been safely reunited with her family. She was living in Strasbourg and had lost contact with her family on March 14, which was reported earlier today by Indeksonline.
The disappearance of the young girl alarmed French authorities and prompted action from the Albanian Embassy. According to the announcement made public by the Embassy on social media, the minor is now safe and in good health.
On behalf of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Albanian Embassy in France expressed its gratitude to the French authorities, as well as the family and relatives of the girl, for their cooperation and readiness in assisting with the case.
