As of Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 18:00, sixteen political entities have completed the certification form to participate in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo. The form is similar to those used in previous electoral processes.
KQZ (Central Election Commission) spokesperson Valmir Elezi informed KosovaPress that two of these entities are coalitions:
- Coalition “PAI – PDAK – LPB”, consisting of three parties: the Ashkali Party for Integration (PAI), the Democratic Party of Ashkali of Kosovo (PDAK), and the Movement for Cooperation (LPB).
- Coalition “Koalicija VAKAT”, consisting of three parties: the Democratic Bosniak Party (DSB), the Bosniak Party of Kosovo (BSK), and the Democratic Party Vatan (DSV).
The political parties that have confirmed their participation so far include: LDK, PDK, Kosovo New Roma Party, Jedinstvena Goranska Partija, Za Slobodu Pravdu i Opstanak, KDTP, Egyptian Liberal Party, United Roma Party of Kosovo, Social Democratic Union – SDU, Serbian List, New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo, Fjala, Nova Demokratska Stranka – NDS, and the Progressive Movement of Roma of Kosovo (LPRK).
November 30 is also the deadline for political parties to notify the KQZ if they do not wish to be certified for participation. The period for submitting candidate lists runs from November 24 to December 7.
By December 7, 2025, political entities—including parties, coalitions, civic initiatives, and independent candidates—applying for certification must submit their list of candidates for the early elections to the Assembly of Kosovo through the official platform.
It is noted that tonight at 23:59, all deadlines for various periods concerning political entities for the December 28, 2025 early Assembly elections will conclude.
