The year 2025 began with earthquake tremors in the north of Albania. Shortly after midnight, seismic activity was recorded in the northern part of the country, 8 km northeast of Kukës, near Prizren.
The epicenter is reported to be near the border between Albania and Kosovo.
The tremors had a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 5 km.
So far, no damage has been reported.
