Another attempt — the 23rd in a row — to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo has failed again.
Vetëvendosje (VV) has continued pushing for a change in the voting method for electing the Speaker of the Assembly — from an open vote to a secret ballot — but did not receive support.
111 deputies were present in the chamber.
“55 deputies in favor, one against, no abstentions. The session is interrupted,” said the session chairperson, Avni Dehari.
The next attempt will be made on Saturday at 10:30 AM.
VV’s proposed candidate for the position remains Albulena Haxhiu.
