A tragic incident occurred last night in Pristina, where a 24-year-old woman lost her life following a gunshot wound at the “Fazani-S” shooting range on Dritan Hoxha Street.
According to police sources, the case was reported at around 19:20, when the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, suspected to have been self-inflicted.
She was urgently transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK), but despite doctors’ efforts, she passed away around 22:00.
At the scene, investigators, forensic units, and medical examiners were present. The serious crimes prosecutor initially instructed the case to be treated as “suicide.”
However, after further investigative actions, the owner of the shooting range was questioned as a suspect. By order of the prosecutor, he has been placed under 48-hour detention, on suspicion of “causing general danger resulting in death.”
