The Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has announced that, based on data received today, a total of 25 fire outbreaks have been registered across the country.
Of these, three remain active, while 22 have been localized.
On this occasion, EMA appealed to citizens to report cases of arson and to use emergency numbers.
“The Agency appeals to all citizens to report to law enforcement authorities any case of arson, to avoid any action that may cause fire, and to call the emergency numbers 112, 193, and 192.
At the same time, the Agency expresses its gratitude for the dedication and commitment of the members of the Professional Firefighting and Rescue Units, who continue to operate tirelessly in the field to manage the situation,” the statement reads.
