Once again, the Kosovo Assembly failed to elect its Speaker, marking the 34th unsuccessful attempt to form the country’s top legislative institution.
The session, which began shortly after 10:00 a.m., lasted only a few minutes before being adjourned.
Led by session chair Avni Dehari of the Vetëvendosje Movement, the Assembly proceeded with the predetermined agenda item: the formation of the parliamentary commission tasked with organizing a secret ballot vote for the Speaker.
Despite this procedural step, no progress was made toward electing the Speaker.
The next session is scheduled for Saturday at 10:30 a.m..
