48th Attempt to Constitute Assembly: Citizen in KLA Uniform Protests Against “Usurpers”

The 48th attempt to unblock Kosovo’s Assembly through its constitution is expected to continue shortly. This ongoing deadlock has drawn numerous reactions and criticisms directed at political parties, urging them to resolve the situation.

In response to this impasse, a citizen today held a silent protest in front of the Assembly building. Dressed in a Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) uniform, the protester displayed messages including, “Usurpers must leave to enable the formation of state institutions, starting with the election of the Speaker of Parliament and continuing.”
