Today, the Regional Operational Centers 112 registered a total of 57 fire outbreaks across the country.
According to official data released by the Emergency Management Agency, 55 fires have been successfully contained thanks to the rapid intervention of Professional Firefighting and Rescue Units, while 2 remain active.
The most concerning case has been reported in the “Pajtimi” neighborhood of the Municipality of Shtime, where the fire spread widely and posed a high risk to residents.
As a result of smoke exposure, several citizens were forced to receive medical treatment.
Authorities have issued a strong appeal to citizens to avoid any action that may cause fire and to report all suspected cases of arson to law enforcement.
In emergencies, citizens can report through the emergency numbers: 112, 193, and 192.
