Around half of the votes for parliamentary candidates had been counted by Tuesday afternoon. The results indicate that there will be no major changes in the composition of the new Assembly, as 71 MPs from the previous legislature are expected to be part of the 10th legislature as well, excluding minority representatives.

Currently, 9 of the 10 most-voted candidates nationwide are from Vetëvendosje, while one is from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).

The most-voted candidate is Albin Kurti, with over 182,000 votes, followed by Glauk Konjufca with more than 141,000, and Bedri Hamza in third place with over 83,000 votes.

Based on the regular votes cast on 28 December, Vetëvendosje is projected to secure 56 seats in the Assembly.

Among the top ten most-voted candidates, in addition to Kurti and Konjufca, are Albulena Haxhiu, Hekuran Murati, Donika Gërvalla, Xhelal Sveçla, Hajrulla Çeku, Avni Dehari, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, and Ejup Maqedonci.

Based on approximately 50% of the votes counted, 41 MPs from Vetëvendosje in the new legislature were also part of the previous Assembly.

The PDK, which has secured 23 seats, saw its prime ministerial candidate Bedri Hamza receive the highest number of votes, followed by Arian Tahiri, the former mayoral candidate for Mitrovica, with over 35,000 votes.

According to these results, 15 PDK MPs will return from the previous legislature, while 8 former MPs will remain outside the Assembly. Abelard Tahiri and Rashit Qalaj are also not expected to secure new mandates.

If the ranking remains unchanged, under the gender quota, Blerta Deliu and Arbnore Salihu will gain seats, while Isak Neziri and Altin Krasniqi will lose theirs.

Among PDK MPs, Eman Rrahmani, who joined the party through the List for the Family, has also secured a seat, ranking 11th in votes.

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has secured 15 seats in this election.

Party leader Lumir Abdixhiku received over 39,000 votes, followed by Hykmete Bajrami, with approximately 15,000 fewer votes.

In the new legislature, LDK will retain 11 MPs from the previous term and introduce 4 new ones, including Ukë Rugova, the third most-voted candidate on the party list.

According to current data, 8 MPs from the previous legislature have failed to secure a seat, including Arben Gashi.

The gender quota in LDK will not alter the list of elected candidates, as women from the party have already secured five mandates, which matches the quota requirement.

In the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), seats have been secured by Ramush Haradinaj, Daut Haradinaj, Besnik Tahiri, Bekë Berisha, Agim Çeku, and Time Kadrijaj.

If the ranking remains unchanged after the full vote count, AAK will need to apply the gender quota to ensure two seats for women. As a result, Agim Çeku would lose his mandate to make room for Albana Bytyqi.

From the previous legislature, Lahi Brahimaj is the only AAK MP who has not secured a seat.

Once again in these parliamentary elections, the most-voted woman candidate so far is Albulena Haxhiu, with over 74,000 votes.
