Starting next year, the Municipality of Malisheva is expected to have an underground parking lot and a Martyrs’ Square above the space where work is being done.
The project for “Urban Malisheva”, as the head of this municipality calls it, is said to transform the city.
Citizens express different opinions about this project.
“They have blocked us from all sides, I have nothing to add. It’s taking too long. It is a good project, but at the moment it is a big obstacle for the residents of Malisheva”, said Nuhi Krasniqi, a resident of Malisheva Municipality.
And the citizen Halil Ahmeti said that with “the things that are being fixed, it is becoming very nice, it is becoming”.
“It is being worked on very slowly. Here it was necessary to have three times the number of workers, we had to work 24 hours to release the center faster because it is a municipal center”, added the resident Safet Mazreku.
For the mayor of Malisheva, this project was indispensable.
“For now, we are implementing the biggest project known in the history of the Municipality of Malisheva, and that is the construction of underground parking lots on Martyrs’ Square, and the square will be restored to its previous state,” he said Kastrati.
He has shown what has been done so far about this project.
“We are now in the Martyrs Square, namely in the center of Malisheva, where the district was at that time, an underpass is being created there so that citizens can cross or fulfill their needs faster and in a more qualitative way”. he added.
The opposition criticizes that their remarks were not taken into account.
“With the beginning of the idea of the ‘Urban Malisheva’ project as they have constantly propagated, we as the opposition have tried to convey the opposition’s voice. The remarks and advice that our assembly members have repeatedly given have not been taken into account”, Mevludin Mazreku from PDK emphasized.
