On behalf of the United States of America, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio extended his congratulations to the people of Kosovo on the occasion of the country’s 18th Independence Anniversary.
In a message published by the U.S. State Department, Rubio wrote: “The United States remains unwavering in its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo, and we look forward to expanding economic ties that will increase the prosperity of both our peoples.”
Rubio also emphasized his appreciation for Kosovo’s support of U.S. efforts to confront global challenges and welcomed its leadership as a Founding Member of the Peace Board.
“As Kosovo marks this important anniversary, we look forward to even stronger cooperation in the years ahead. The United States stands with Kosovo as it continues to build a secure and prosperous future,” Rubio concluded.
