The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met today with former American President George W. Bush, describing the latter as a “messenger and advocate for the independence of Kosovo”.
Osmani, through a post on social networks, announced the meeting with former President Bush, recalling his statement during his visit to Tirana in 2007.
“‘Enough is enough. Kosovo is independent’, is the warning phrase for Kosovo’s independence, by President George W. Bush in Tirana in 2007, which will remain engraved in the annals of history as a firm affirmation of Kosovo’s right to be independent and sovereign”, Osmani wrote.
“The pleasure of meeting the herald of Kosovo’s independence, President Bush, who was a determined advocate for Kosovo’s independence and continues to remain a friend and supporter of the people of Kosovo”, President Osmani wrote.
