President Vjosa Osmani commemorated NATO’s intervention in Kosovo 27 years ago by sharing the video of then-U.S. President Bill Clinton announcing the decision to act.
In her message, Osmani emphasized the importance of preserving alliances, noting that the partnerships which secured freedom must be defended just like freedom itself.
“27 years ago, when the people of Kosovo faced extermination by genocidal Serbia, NATO took action. Kosovo does not forget. Alliances that protect freedom must be safeguarded as vigilantly as freedom itself,” she said.
