A joint operation by the Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Customs has uncovered a case of goods smuggling.
The Task Force, composed of the Regional Border Directorate South and the Customs Anti-Smuggling Unit, acted on relevant intelligence to identify a location serving as a collection point for smuggled goods.
Following a search carried out under the order of the State Prosecutor in Gjilan, authorities seized a significant quantity of contraband, including 27,000 assorted cigarette filters, 91 kilograms of processed tobacco ready for sale, and 700 electric sockets of 100W.
All seized goods have been handed over to Kosovo Customs, and the case is being processed in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
