The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting on Friday, during which it reviewed and approved several key draft laws and decisions.
Among the approved items was a draft law ratifying a credit agreement between Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Finance, and the International Development Association for the Kosovo Financial Sector Development Project.
The government also approved draft laws related to policy-based credit programmes for the energy and climate sector, aimed at supporting reforms and sustainability efforts.
Another approved draft law concerns a credit agreement for the “Trade and Transport Facilitation in the Western Balkans 2.0” project, also in cooperation with the International Development Association.
In addition, the government adopted a list of dual-use items subject to central public procurement procedures, as well as amendments to budget allocations for 2026. These changes are intended to meet outstanding financial and contractual obligations from the previous year, particularly for the Ministry of Defence.
The decisions reflect ongoing efforts by Kosovo authorities to strengthen economic development, infrastructure, and financial governance.
