The deadline for public officials in Kosovo to submit their asset declarations has officially ended. The declaration process occurs in three stages: upon assuming office, upon leaving office, and through an annual submission covering the previous year.
According to the Anti-Corruption Agency, over 10,350 officials were required to submit their regular declarations this year.
Authorities have warned that enforcement procedures will begin immediately following the deadline.
Last year, more than 130 fines were issued for late submissions, including to high-ranking officials. The Agency urged all public officials to comply with the deadlines, emphasizing that transparency remains crucial for maintaining citizens’ trust in public institutions.
