President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, commemorated the 17th anniversary of Albania’s NATO membership in a social media post, describing it as a historic achievement that has strengthened the country’s security, sovereignty, and role within the Euro-Atlantic alliance.
President Begaj praised Albania’s contribution as a committed ally in service of international peace and security, highlighting the country’s continuous participation in NATO missions and operations.
He expressed pride in the dedication and professionalism of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, which have served with distinction alongside allies whenever and wherever their contribution was required.
Begaj emphasized that Albania remains steadfast in its commitment to be a factor of stability and security, and that alongside its allies, the country will continue contributing to peace, stability, and the building of a safer future for all.
In his message, President Begaj wrote:
