The final decision in the trial of former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers has been postponed until July 20, according to sources cited by IndeksOnline.
More than two months have passed since the conclusion of the trial proceedings. The verdict had initially been expected around May 19, but has now been delayed.
Sources indicate that defense teams have already been informed of the new timeline.
Under the court’s rules, the trial panel has 90 days to deliver a verdict, with the possibility of an additional extension of up to 60 days.
The outcome of this case considered one of the most significant judicial processes involving former UÇK leaders is now expected to be announced on July 20.
