During the action on May 20, the Kosovo Police said that they closed six facilities of the Postal Savings Bank, as, according to them, they were operating illegally in the north of the country.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, according to an announcement from the Serbian government, says that Albin Kurti, by raiding the branches of the Postal Savings Bank of Serbia, is continuing the “terror against the Serbian people in Kosovo”.
“Kurti continues his terror against the Serbian people in Kosovo by raiding the branches of the Postal Savings Bank, until when will the international community tolerate violence against the Serbs?” said Dacic.
And according to Dacic, this action is leading to new conflicts in the Balkans.
“Kurti is not worth talking about, but if the international community does not come to its senses, all this will lead to new conflicts in the Balkans with incalculable consequences”, Dacic warned.
Also, the prime minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, reacted to this action, calling it a barbaric act.
“Who and why is the Postal Savings Bank getting in the way? Because of the check. Serbs in Kosovo are the only community in Europe that cannot operate normally. Are they entitled to wages and pensions? Or nothing is allowed to him”, said Vučević, N1 conveys.
