Kosovo receives Employment Work Plan in Berlin, Hoti: An important step toward the EU

Kosovo has officially received the Work Plan on Employment and Social Policies within the framework of the Berlin Process, during a meeting held in Berlin with Western Balkan countries and European partners.

The Minister of Labor, Family and War Veterans’ Values, Andin Hoti, announced that the document was handed over by Germany’s Federal Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, Bärbel Bas.

Hoti described this as an important step toward European integration and the strengthening of employment and social policies in Kosovo.

“The Republic of Kosovo has officially received the Work Plan on Employment and Social Policies of this Process within the framework of the Berlin Process Ministerial Meeting.

Today in Berlin, as the Minister of Labor, Family and War Veterans’ Values of the Republic of Kosovo, I had the pleasure of receiving this important document from Ms. Bärbel Bas, Federal Minister for Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, alongside colleagues from the six Western Balkan countries during today’s conference focused on advancing employment and social policies together.

The acceptance of this document marks a decisive moment in Kosovo’s integration path and regional cooperation, giving a new and irreversible impulse to our journey toward European standards in employment and social policies.”
