The Center for University Studies (QSU) of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) has participated in the “International Humanitarian Law” forum in Italy for the second consecutive year, marking another milestone in the force’s international academic integration.

The event is a prestigious global gathering designed to foster legal expertise among the next generation of military leaders.

Exchanging Knowledge on Global Standards

According to an official announcement from the KSF, the forum serves as a critical platform for:

  • Global Collaboration: Bringing together cadets from various military academies worldwide.
  • Legal Expertise: Exchanging knowledge and practical skills regarding International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and the rules of engagement during armed conflicts.
  • Professional Networking: Building relationships between the KSF and international partner academies.

Commitment to International Representation

The QSU highlighted that participation in such initiatives is a core part of their mission to develop well-rounded officers who are not only tactically proficient but also legally grounded.

“The QSU will continue its commitment to supporting cadets in initiatives that advance their knowledge, experience, and provide the most dignified representation of the KSF in the international arena,” the KSF statement noted.

By engaging in these forums, the KSF continues to align its training standards with Western military doctrines and international legal frameworks, further professionalizing the force as it seeks greater Euro-Atlantic integration.
