Flora Ahmeti, spokesperson for the Prishtina Regional Police, has confirmed that no suspicious items were found following a report of a possible explosive device at the Prishtina Bus Station.
According to Ahmeti, the information was immediately handled by the police, and thorough inspections were carried out by the relevant security units.
“The information was treated by the police. After checks conducted by the competent units, nothing suspicious was found,” Ahmeti stated.
She added that police investigators, in coordination with the State Prosecutor, have begun examining all circumstances related to the incident, which has been classified as a false report.
“Police investigators, in coordination with the state prosecutor, have started working to clarify all circumstances related to this case, which has been classified as a false alarm,” stated Ahmeti.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the source of the false report and determine whether legal action will be taken against those responsible.
