The Philately Department of Post of Kosovo has released a special commemorative postage stamp issue dedicated to the 250th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States, marking one of the most significant jubilees in the modern history of democracy.

This philatelic issue was created as a tribute to the declaration of independence of the United States on July 4, 1776, a historic event that marked the birth of a nation founded on the ideals of freedom, self-determination, and democracy.

Through this commemorative release, the Post of Kosovo joins international celebrations marking two and a half centuries since this landmark event.

In its announcement, the Post of Kosovo highlighted the historic contribution of the United States to the promotion of peace, freedom, and democratic development around the world. It also emphasized the special friendship and strategic partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States.

The issue consists of a postage stamp with a nominal value of €2.10, presented on a specially designed sheet containing four stamps, as well as a First Day Cover. Accompanied by the official First Day Cancellation, it represents a valuable collectible item for philatelists and enthusiasts of postal history.

With this commemorative issue, the Post of Kosovo honors the ideals of freedom, independence, and democracy—values that continue to inspire generations and form the foundation of the strong and enduring relationship between Kosovo and the United States.
