Ukraine has stepped up its long-range drone and missile operations deep inside Russian territory, targeting strategic defense industry sites and critical energy infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian forces struck the Titan-Barrikady industrial facility in the city of Volgograd, which he said is involved in the production of military equipment and components for missile systems.
According to Ukrainian authorities, the strike triggered a fire at the industrial complex, which is believed to manufacture weapons and advanced artillery systems.
In a separate operation, Ukrainian drones also targeted an oil pumping station in Russia that plays a role in supplying fuel to the Moscow region.
Russian authorities confirmed the attacks, reporting injuries and damage to infrastructure, while regional officials announced emergency response measures in the affected areas.
The Kremlin has not yet issued a detailed response to the incidents, as tensions between Russia and Ukraine remain high following a new wave of military escalation on the battlefield and within Russian territory.
