Kosovo’s acting chief diplomat, Glauk Konjufca, has congratulated his Irish counterpart, Helen McEntee, on Ireland’s assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the next six months.
“Congratulations to Ireland on assuming the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. I extend my best wishes to Minister for Foreign Affairs Helen McEntee and her team for a successful and productive term,” Konjufca wrote.
He added that “Ireland’s continued commitment to the enlargement of the European Union is of particular importance to Kosovo’s European path,” while expressing that he “looks forward to close cooperation with the Irish Presidency in the months ahead.”
