The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship has published the maximum permitted fuel prices for today.
According to the ministry, the maximum retail prices are:
- Diesel: €1.43 per litre
- Petrol (Gasoline): €1.36 per litre
- LPG (Gas): €0.61 per litre
The maximum price of diesel has increased by 1 cent compared to yesterday, when it stood at €1.42 per litre. For comparison, on June 25, diesel was priced at €1.36 per litre.
Fuel prices in Kosovo previously climbed as high as €1.91 per litre following the escalation of conflict in the Middle East, which disrupted global energy markets.
The conflict began with U.S. and Israeli strikes across Iran on February 28, prompting Iranian retaliatory attacks against Israel and U.S. allies in the Persian Gulf, as well as the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important shipping routes for oil and liquefied natural gas.
