“This afternoon at the crossing in Merdar, a person suspected of war crimes against the civilian population of Kosovo was arrested, this is Tefik Mustafa, who, as a member of the KLA, was mentioned in witness statements as a participant in the kidnapping of policemen Goran Marinkovic, Živojin Pavić and Predrag Milosevic, which happened on June 19, 1999, on the Pristina-Gjilan highway, near the village of Llaban, after which all traces were lost,” he said, Serbian media write.

This is not the first time that Serbia arrests Kosovars on charges of war crimes.

Thus, on April 17, Serbia arrested Sadik Duraku with British citizenship.

Durak was arrested at a border crossing between Croatia and Serbia, during the time when Serbia had banned all bus traffic from Kosovo.

Sadik has been remanded in custody. His family members also spoke about this case.
