Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that any political agreement reached with the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will be communicated once it is finalized.
Speaking as he entered the Assembly of Kosovo, where he was due to meet LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, Kurti stressed that the discussions are part of ongoing efforts to establish the country’s institutions.
“When we have a political agreement, you will have news from me. Meetings with the LDK are no longer news—they are normal efforts to constitute the institutions as quickly as possible,” Kurti said briefly.
Ahead of the meeting, Abdixhiku reiterated that the priority remains fulfilling Kosovo’s constitutional obligations.
“We will continue doing the work necessary to constitute the Assembly. There is no reason for the constitution of the Assembly to be delayed. Please allow me to attend the meeting, and I will speak afterward,” he said.
The meeting comes with only hours remaining before the constitutional deadline for the constitution of Kosovo’s Assembly.
