Aleksandar Vučić said today that Serbia is facing difficult days, but that peace is the main interest of the Serbs, stressing that there is no other solution for the Kosovo issue but dialogue, in compliance with the resolution of the UN Security Council, the Agreement of Brussels and the formation of the Association.
“In the statement we are making, we talked about Kosovo, about the obligation to respect the Resolution of the UN Security Council, as part of the international order, but we also clearly talked about dialogue as an essential way to solve the problem between us and Albanians have no choice but to dialogue and insist on it, respecting the Brussels Agreement, fulfilling obligations, forming the Association and everything else”, said Vučić at the joint session of the governments of Serbia and RS within the framework of the All-Serbian Assembly.
He warned that difficult days await Serbia, not because of the position of the Serbs, but because of what is happening in the world.
“If you look at Europe and America – they cannot allow Russia to win and on the other hand, it is clear that the Russians cannot say that they will lose, because they will lose their country. This leads to a world catastrophe”, explained the Serbian president.
Therefore, he emphasizes, the most important Serbian interest is the preservation of peace.
“We, the Serbs, are probably world champions in wars, always under attack. It is time to maintain peace and build a future for our people. If we had not been part of all those wars, today there would be more of us than the Dutch”, said Vucic.
