The “Liria ka Emër” platform held a press conference during which its representatives presented upcoming activities in support of former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

Ismail Tasholli, a representative of the platform, spoke about the organization of a gathering in The Hague, which is expected to take place on the day the Kosovo Specialist Chambers are scheduled to announce their verdict against the former KLA leaders.

Tasholli said the gathering, organized together with the Albanian diaspora, aims to express solidarity with and support for the former KLA leaders on that day.

“On September 15, we want to turn The Hague into a ‘Night of Waiting.’ Together with our diaspora, we will stay there overnight, peacefully, with dignity and in an organized manner, until the moment the verdict is announced. Kosovo and the diaspora will wait together,” Tasholli said.

According to the organizers’ plans, the gathering will begin on September 15 at 10:00 p.m. and continue until September 16 at 10:00 a.m., when the verdict is expected to be announced by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.

Tasholli said citizens would remain in The Hague throughout the night until the verdict is announced.
