A protest against what organizers describe as the “blockade of municipalities and punishment of citizens” will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at 11:00 a.m. in Skënderbeu Square in Prishtina.
The organizers have called on citizens from municipalities across Kosovo to join the demonstration in the capital.
To facilitate participation, buses bringing citizens from other municipalities to Prishtina will be provided with free parking. According to the organizers, the designated parking area will be located behind the Palace of Youth and Sports.
The organizers said the initiative is intended to make it easier for citizens from outside the capital to attend the protest and take part in what they describe as a collective call for functioning municipalities and the protection of citizens’ interests.
“Welcome to the Capital! Together for the municipalities, together for the citizens!” the organizers said in their announcement.
The protest is expected to bring together citizens from different parts of Kosovo, with the organizers emphasizing unity across municipalities and encouraging broad public participation.
