This municipality, which is led by Erden Atiq, has issued a public communiqué, where it accuses the previous local governments of inaction and as a result the spaces were blocked.
Likewise, the municipality has asked businesses to take advantage of the possibility of using public spaces where free movement is not hindered according to the regulations in force.
“On ‘Princi Milosh’ street, the activity for the release of public spaces has continued. Even this road, like the whole city, was blocked over the years due to the inaction of the former government and the inspectorate of the municipality of Northern Mitrovica. As we have promised, that we will respond positively to the demands of the citizens, we have continued to free up spaces and remove obstacles along the sidewalks.
“On the other hand, we invite businessmen to take advantage of the opportunity to use public spaces where free movement is not hindered according to the regulations in force by applying for consent at the Directorate for Urbanism, Cadastre and Geodesy at office no. 6 in the facility of the municipality of Northern Mitrovica”.
“During this activity, it is worth underlining the cooperation of the citizens, who we thank for their cooperation, becoming an important part of this process in accordance with the laws, contributing to the common good, which improves the quality of life of each of us”, says the announcement of the municipality of North Mitrovica.
