Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, hosted a meeting with representatives of the Coordinating Council of Family Associations of the Missing Persons of Kosovo.

Participants in this meeting included Andin Hoti and Kushtrim Gara from the Government Commission for Missing Persons.

The meeting emphasized the importance of internationalizing the genocide committed by Serbia in Kosovo. It was stated that “organizations can fully rely on the support of the Government, and the necessity of uncovering the crimes, massacres, and structured plans of Serbia for the ethnic cleansing of Albanians in Kosovo and bringing the perpetrators of these crimes to justice was highlighted.”

It was stressed during the meeting that Serbia, now internationally recognized as a genocidal state, must face its past and be held accountable for the genocide in Kosovo.

“The Republic of Kosovo continues its relentless institutional efforts in this regard, but unfortunately faces unwillingness, denial, and hesitation from Serbian authorities in uncovering these crimes. Serbia, now internationally recognized as a genocidal state, must face its past and be held accountable for the genocide in Kosovo,” stated the announcement from the Office of the Prime Minister.
