Lazar Radulović, an MP representing the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival, has accused the Serbian List of attempting to block his election to Kosovo’s Assembly and intimidate him through pressure and alleged attacks.
Speaking in the Assembly, Radulović said he owed the Serbian List MPs a response, claiming that during the election process they had filed a complaint with the Supreme Court in an attempt to challenge his candidacy.
He also recalled an incident from a previous parliamentary term in which, according to him, an MP from Nenad Rašić’s party joined the Serbian List just days after entering the Assembly. Radulović alleged that the lawmaker had been persuaded and paid to switch political affiliations.
“The problem for the Serbian List is that they cannot buy me or intimidate me,” Radulović said.
The Serbian MP also claimed that he had recently faced several problems, including physical attacks and the tyres of his car being punctured.
He insisted that these incidents would not force him to leave his parliamentary position, using strong language to describe what he sees as attempts to remove him from the Assembly.
“The only way to get me out of this place is to shoot me. There is no other way you can take away the seat I hold in this Assembly,” he said.
Radulović further accused the Serbian List of acting under the influence of Belgrade and described the party as a criminal organization.
“I am not addressing you personally, because you are pawns sitting here and taking orders from Belgrade, but your criminal organization is ready for anything,” he said.
Radulović concluded by insisting that he would not be intimidated by the pressure he says he has been facing. His accusations against the Serbian List were made during his parliamentary speech and have not been independently substantiated in the information provided.
