The European Union does not support Kosovo and attacks the victim while defending aggression and supporting the genocidal state. This is how political analysts expressed themselves following the statement of EU spokesperson, Peter Stano.
Peter Stano, the spokesperson of the European Union, was asked on Monday about the weapons found in the north by the Kosovo Police.
He did not respond to this question but emphasized the need for de-escalation of the situation. Stano expressed that the EU is concerned about the situation in the north while stressing the need for de-escalation.
He said that uncoordinated actions have caused the situation in the north to become tense and that this was the reason for the measures against Kosovo.
“Of course, we are concerned about the situation in the north because we have seen over a period of time, for months, unilateral and uncoordinated steps that have led to tensions. And this actually falls into the first part of the questions we discussed. The continuous escalation was the reason that the EU imposed measures, so of course, we expect the government in Pristina and the Kosovo authorities to take the necessary steps for de-escalation, but we also expect the same from the Serbian side,” he stated.
He emphasized that it is the duty of both Kosovo and Serbia to prevent escalations.
“Both sides have issues, both sides have obligations, and it is their duty to do everything possible, together with allies and partners, to prevent escalations. Because if we see such situations again, the European Union has shown that if necessary, we can react in ways other than public statements. So we sincerely hope that everyone is doing their best for de-escalation, to help with steps that help us finally escape the cycle of tensions and return to where we should be, which is the platform of dialogue, seeking solutions for the urgent implementation of the Agreement for the Normalization of Relations between Belgrade and Pristina,” he said.
“What Albin did in 3 years, the EU could not do in 22 years.”
Political analyst, Faton Mehmeti, following Stano’s statements, says that the EU needs reform.

In a statement to the newspaper “Bota sot,” Mehmeti said that the European Union should thank Kosovo for bringing normalcy to the north, which it could not do itself.
“The EU needs reform, a change of course to be real, impartial, and above all, fair. Its unjust actions have produced tensions from Serbia in the north, turning that part of Kosovo into a hotspot for criminals. In fact, the EU should thank Kosovo for restoring normalcy in the north, which the EU itself has not been able to do for 22 years. What Albin did in 3 years, the EU could not do in 22 years. In short, it makes no sense to say that Kosovo has taken unilateral actions; with whom should Kosovo coordinate to exercise its sovereignty, to pursue terrorists? This is also Kosovo’s duty,” Mehmeti declared.
Furthermore, according to him, the EU is defending aggression and attacking the victim.
“As long as the EU continues this approach, there will never be a final agreement, with its approach the EU itself is hindering any agreement, while defending aggression and attacking the victim,” adds Mehmeti.
“The greatest cynicism of Stano is that instead of supporting Kurti’s police, he declares the opposite.”
On the other hand, political analyst Sulejman Mehazi says that the EU is not needed if it opposes the actions of the Kosovo police.

According to him, it does not support suffering Kosovo, but shamelessly supports the genocidal state in the world, Serbia.
“If the Spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, opposes the actions of the Kosovo police for the operation of discovering Serbian weapons in North Mitrovica, then we can freely say that we do not need such an EU that does not support suffering Kosovo, but shamelessly supports the genocidal state in the world, Serbia. The greatest cynicism of this “gentleman” of the EU, Stano, is that instead of supporting Kurti’s police who have discovered and captured dangerous Serbian weapons in North Mitrovica, he declares the opposite by saying, ‘the government of Kosovo has taken unilateral steps uncoordinated with the EU,’ which during the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue is openly with the genocidal Vucic,” Mehazi expressed.
He considers Stano’s statement absurd, adding that Kosovo does not belong to the genocidal group of the EU.
“The statement of the EU spokesperson, Stano, regarding the action of the Kosovo police is so absurd, pretending as if the Kosovo police did not discover murderous weapons against Kosovo and its citizens, but beautiful flowers to decorate the north of Kosovo. Since Kosovo in front of genocidal Serbia is worthless to the EU, then there is no need for Kurti’s government to coordinate with the worthless EU. Stano, Lajcak, Borrell, the EU should support genocidal Serbia, Kosovo does not belong to the genocidal group of the EU, Kosovo is with NATO, the USA, and Great Britain, period,” concludes the analyst.
Kosovo Police on Friday, June 14, confiscated a considerable amount of weapons in two locations in the north, one owned by Marjan Radojevic and the other by Zarko Cvetkovic.
Radojevic and Cvetkovic are on the wanted list for the attack in Banjska on September 24, in which Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed.
For the operations in the north of Kosovo, the Kosovo authorities have made it known that they are conducted in cooperation with KFOR and with their knowledge.
