Hoxhaj wrote that “these events are connected”.
“Serb paramilitaries and criminals from northern Kosovo played a crucial role in the 2016 coup attempt against President Djukanovic and are now involved in assassination plans against him. These events are interconnected, including Belgrade and Moscow, aiming for hegemony over Montenegro”, wrote Hoxhaj in “X”.
Montenegrin media reported that Djukanovic informed the authorities that he had received information that an assassination attempt was being prepared against him.
RTCG, citing sources close to the former president, wrote that a foreign soldier from Kosovo informed him that an organized criminal group from a neighboring country was allegedly planning to carry out an assassination attempt, in cooperation with the security services. of another neighboring country.
