Serbian Deputy Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vullin, has called for increased security for Serbian President, Aleksandar Vučić. Both Vullini and the speaker of the Serbian assembly, Ana Bërnabiq, have accused the media that are not under the control of the regime, that they are creating an atmosphere against Vučić, just as it was created in America against Donald Trump, writes N1. The equalization of the endangerment of Trump and Vučić continued in the videos published by some tabloids of the Serbian regime, in which the journalists of N1, Nova S and some other media with manipulation are being accused of following Vučić.
On the day of the assassination, a campaign was launched on the “X” network by the Serbian parliamentarian. As she said, she “invites the so-called “elite” to see what could be the consequences of the hatred” that, according to her, “they are promoting every day”.
“Inspirers never pull the trigger. The trigger is pulled by those who are more mentally unstable, the extremists, the lost, from the margins of society – in their minds they are fighters for justice”, claimed Bërnabiq.
It continued with calls from the deputy prime minister and former head of the BIA to the state authorities.
“I call on the authorities in Serbia to increase security measures for President Aleksandar Vučić and his family. Very often, through media pressure, they try to force them to give up the protection of the state and to be even easier targets”, said Aleksandar Vullin.
The culmination occurred in the video edited by the regime tabloid “Kurir” in which N1 is the first accused of endangering the president, even though “Kurir” himself wrote words about Aleksandar Vučić that were never heard by N1:
“He is the embodiment of evil, he is the devil himself, he is Satan himself…” writes N1, Paparaci broadcasts.
Thus, protecting the president from the media such as N1, “Kurir” has in fact targeted the journalists of N1 and other media with a manipulative video. Vučić, on the other hand, thinks that N1 should be changed.
To have a little more balanced approach and a little more respect for those you don’t think well of”, said Aleksandar Vucic.
Even the head of the Serbian Socialist Party joined this campaign.
“As far as I know, we have been talking about this for 10 years, in the case of the murder of Zoran Djindjic. It was even said that the media background of that event was never proven”, said Ivica Dacic.
Dushan Millenkovic from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, has said that the government is swimming in the waves of events in America and is trying to use the assassination of Trump politically.
“PPS has been poisoning society for a long time, which causes us many problems. We have an escalation of violence”, said Millenkovic.
The vice president of the Freedom and Justice Party, Marinika Tepiq, replied to the speaker of the assembly that it is the government that has said about the opposition words like “dung, scum, wretched, poor, sick, vultures, Nazis”, and that it is the government that created the “media factories of evil for terrible propaganda” against critics of the regime.
