NATO forces in Kosovo have released footage from the training of Latvian, Norwegian, English, Danish, Finnish and Polish soldiers assigned to the NATO-led KFOR mission’s Regional Command East.

“Spur Ride” was carried out with the help of American soldiers in the camp of Novosella.

According to the KFOR announcement, this event tested their physical fitness, unit knowledge and cavalry scout skills.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to provide a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time and impartially. “KFOR is the third security responder, after the Kosovo Police and the EU mission for the Rule of Law (EULEX), with whom we work in close coordination,” the announcement states.
