An explosion shocked the vacationers who had decided to bathe in Lake Ujman this afternoon.
All those people who were in the water and not only immediately left the scene, while additional police forces and investigators of the case immediately landed in the area.
The Kosovo Police spoke about the case and the damages.
“There are no injured persons, only two cars were damaged, the explosive device was thrown from the place where the work is being done”, revealed Veton Elshani, the deputy commander of the Police in the north.
While the reaction of Prime Minister Albin Kurti was immediate, he said that “Serbia does not benefit from the normality created in that part”.
“According to the information of the Kosovo Police, today around 14:30 at the place called “To the fifth tunnel”, on the main road to Lake Ujman, a hand grenade was thrown by one or more unknown persons. two parked cars, one with local license plates and the other with American license plates, were damaged”, wrote Kurti.
He said that relevant police units are at the scene and are investigating the case.
“Serbia and certain circles friendly with it, the normality created in that part of our country was not praised. Losing influence in this area, nervousness becomes aggressive. Even various criminal groups, more or less connected to it, have lost the opportunity for enormous benefits that they had for more than two decades since the liberation of Kosovo. This is painful for them and difficult to accept”.
