At the beginning of this month, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with criminal leader Milan Radoičić.
According to sources from RTK within Kosovo’s security agencies, the meeting took place during the Serbian president’s visit to the city of Kragujevac in early July. The sources indicate that the meeting covered various topics, including support for Milan Radoičić’s criminal group, potential protests, opposition in Serbia, and the instigation of incidents/attacks in northern Kosovo.
Due to international pressure, the meeting was reportedly kept secret. Vučić and Radoičić allegedly agreed to occasionally criticize each other in certain circles to disguise their close cooperation.
It is said that Vučić confirmed to Radoičić the strengthening of state and institutional support from Serbia for the continuation of their activities, while Radoičić once again expressed his loyalty to Vučić.
Furthermore, Milan Radoičić’s paramilitary group has recently concentrated its activities in the Novi Pazar area, with increased movements in nearby locations such as Novi Pazar Spa, Vučja Lokva, Ribarići, and Rogozna.
According to sources within the security institutions, Milan Radoičić has also recently met with several senior Serbian police officers to discuss “security topics” and sought support for his group, while continuing to have regular meetings with Serbian BIA officials.
It should be noted that Kosovo and international security institutions have continuously warned about the possibility of provocations and further attacks by Milan Radoičić’s group, which is undergoing continuous training and is based in Serbia.
On Sunday, near the Ujman Lake, there was an explosive attack that damaged two parked vehicles. According to RTK sources, this attack was intended to threaten and intimidate citizens spending their weekend at the lake.
