The spokesperson of the EU, Peter Stano, has said that the question of reopening the Ibri Bridge for traffic is a question that belongs to the dialogue and that any decision about the opening should be taken within the dialogue.
He has said that discussions are ongoing and that the EU is working closely with international partners in Kosovo – calling for unilateral action to be avoided.
“The talks are continuing and the EU is cooperating closely with its international partners in Kosovo. The EU calls on all interested parties to refrain from any uncoordinated and unilateral actions”, said Stano.
Stano further added that all agreements from the dialogue, including those for the bridge in Iber, must be fully implemented.
The topic of the Ibri Bridge was raised as an issue in last week’s meeting that Prime Minister Albin Kurti had with the QUINT ambassadors in Kosovo.
