Serbian Prime Minister, Miloš Vučević, has called on all deputies of the Serbian Assembly to support the ‘Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serbian People’ issued by the all-Serbian council. According to him, this declaration forms the basis for the ongoing political struggle for the survival of the Serbian people in this region and the difficult fight for Kosovo.

Reacting to the claims of opposition deputy from the Green-Left Front (ZLF), Radomir Lazović, who described the All-Serbian Declaration as a “nationalist pamphlet and fabrication,” Vučević stated that it would be good if the problems and challenges faced by Serbs were fabrications, but that is not the case.

“It would be a fabrication if we didn’t have 300 final solutions for the emigration of Serbs from Mitrovica in Kosovo, and if we didn’t have Prime Minister Kurti’s efforts to open a bridge between North and South Mitrovica,” said Vučević.

He also pointed out the continuous efforts to revise the Dayton Agreement, which are always and exclusively detrimental to the RS, the persecution and banning of the Cyrillic alphabet, and the breaking of Serbian gravestones.

“The Declaration does not solve all problems, but it provides a political foundation and an institutional approach on how to implement state and national policy in response to all these circumstances,” Vučević said.
